Cisive, a portfolio company of CIP Capital, has acquired Blue Umbrella‘s pre-employment division. No financial terms were disclosed. Blue Umbrella is a provider of global research and compliance technologies.

Blue Umbrella, a leading provider of global research and compliance technologies, today announces the sale of its pre-employment screening (PES) division to Cisive, a USA-based global provider of compliance-driven human capital management and risk management solutions. Blue Umbrella will now focus all of its efforts on developing industry-leading third-party due diligence technology powered by global research.
