PE-backed Compliance Science appoints Bruce as CMO

Compliance Science, which is backed by Edison Partners, has named Henry Bruce as chief marketing officer. Previously, Bruce worked at Centro LLC where he was vice president of product marketing. Based in New York City, Compliance Science is a provider of governance, risk management and compliance solutions for the financial services sector.


NEW YORK – July 20, 2015 – Compliance Science, a leading provider of governance, risk management and compliance solutions, today announced the appointment of Henry Bruce as Chief Marketing Officer.

In his new role, Mr. Bruce will be responsible for product and corporate marketing, as well as developing messaging, positioning and sales enablement. Based in the company’s New York office, Mr. Bruce will report to Jeffrey Lubitz, Chief Revenue Officer.

Mr. Bruce brings to the firm a demonstrated expertise in driving revenue through product marketing and developing company value propositions. Prior to joining Compliance Science, Mr. Bruce spent more than 25 years creating go-to-market strategies, sales models, integrated digital marketing programs and business relationships that drive successful client acquisition and topline revenue.

Mr. Bruce joins Compliance Science from Centro LLC, where he served as Vice President of Product Marketing, focused on implementing a pragmatic marketing framework, as well as content marketing and sales enablement. Prior to Centro LLC, he was the Founder and President of the Rock Annand Group where he was responsible for consulting to software technology and services firms on business strategy and developing and executing go-to-market initiatives. He has also served in various sales and marketing leadership capacities for firms including Industri-Matematik International, Optum, Ross Systems and Xerox. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in economics from Trinity College.
