Hallcon Corporation, a North American leader in transportation and mobility services in the public and private transit sectors, today announced it has appointed John R. Stoiber as its President & Chief Executive Officer effective December 1, 2018.
John Stoiber succeeds Tony G. Plut, who will remain on Hallcon’s Board of Directors. “John has been a key leader and partner during Hallcon’s growth and transformation over the last three years and I am thrilled that he will take the lead as we continue to grow the organization,“ said Tony G. Plut.
John Stoiber has spent over two decades redefining outsourced services partnerships in transportation and other industries. Since 2015, Stoiber has served as Hallcon’s Chief Operating Officer, and he became President & COO in February of 2018. Prior to joining Hallcon, he spent over 25 years in a variety of Fortune 500, mid-size and entrepreneurial ventures with a focus on social media, technology, professional services, and e-commerce.
He has held numerous senior executive positions in outsourced services, served in Ernst & Young’s strategy consulting practice, and was a software and electronics engineer with Johnson Controls, Inc. In 2014, John was the recipient of the Association Forum of Chicagoland’s Inspiring Leader Award for establishing a culture that promotes employee satisfaction, motivation, engagement and achievement. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Science in Software Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) from Marquette University. He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MBA in New Ventures from Marquette University, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
