McAfee, a cybersecurity software provider, has gone public again, after raising $740 million for its IPO after pricing its 37 million shares at $20 per share, reported CNN. The company is trading its stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “MCFE.” The news outlet noted that McAfee was a public company before Intel acquired it for $7.7 billion in 2011. CNN added that “the McAfee name was dropped a few years ago, but then reinstated after Intel sold a majority stake in it to private equity firm TPG, which now owns nearly 66 percent of McAfee.”
