MicroDental Inc, formerly known as DTI Dental Technologies Inc, has acquired Phoenix Dental Laboratory Inc, a full-service dental laboratory located in Hamilton, Ontario. The financial details of the transaction were not released. MicroDental said Phoenix will be merged with its Hamilton division to serve the Greater Toronto Area. The Dublin, California-headquartered MicroDental, which operates a network of dental laboratories, is backed by HealthpointCapital, a U.S. private equity firm. HealthpointCapital combined it with its Vancouver-based portfolio company DTI in 2007.

MicroDental Laboratories, a network of dental laboratories committed to helping dentists thrive, announced the acquisition of Phoenix Dental Laboratory based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Effective immediately, Phoenix Dental Laboratory will merge with the company’s MicroDental Hamilton Laboratory to form one of the leading, full service laboratories in the Toronto metropolitan area.

Owned and operated by Davide Dessegna, a Registered Dental Technician (RDT), Phoenix Dental Laboratory is know for utilizing leading dental technologies and modern dental materials to provide dentists with high-quality crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-retained restorations. Moving forward, the lab will continue to offer local pickup, delivery, and chairside services.
