PE investor Veronis dies at 93: NY Times

Highlights of Veronis' career includes launching Psychology Today and arranging the sale of Diamandis Communications to Hachette Publications for $712 million.

John Veronis, who brokered numerous high-profile media deals and was a co-founder of private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson, died on June 24, reported the New York Times. Veronis was 93. Highlights of Veronis’ career includes launching Psychology Today and arranging the sale of Diamandis Communications to Hachette Publications for $712 million. Veronis retired in 2010.
