Gerber Scientific Inc, which is owned by Vector Capital, has hired John Capasso as chief financial officer. Previously, Capasso worked at Varel International Energy Services where he served as CFO. Gerber Scientific, Inc., a world leader in integrated solutions for the apparel and industrial markets announced that John Capasso joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer.
Capasso was most recently CFO of Varel International Energy Services, and brings a unique combination of public and private company experience to Gerber. He will oversee corporate finance, accounting, tax, investor relations and information technology, and report to Gerber’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Elia.
