peHUB Funding Opps: Body Armor Nutrition, Millennium Pharmacy Services, Big Switch Networks

peHUB.com continues to comb federal filings for the latest in start-up investments and VC deals. In today’s edition, we have energy services firms, nutritional drinks and a prescription benefit manager. Some have already crossed the finish line, so the best VCs can hope for is another round later on; others are still looking to scoop up cash.

IN THE MARKET

*Body Armor Nutrition, the California beverage company run by Lance Collins, FUZE Beverages founder, is still looking to fill out most of its $13.5 million fundraising. Already, $250,000 has been invested in the company, according to a SEC filing.

*Earl Energy, the Virginia-based energy services firm for military clients, is seeking to raise slightly more than $5 million, according to a recent federal filing.

*Zecozi Inc., the Pennsylvania-based online marketplace, updated a SEC filing to reflect that it has raised more than $360,000 of its $1 million round. The company continues to seek investment capital, according to the filing.

*Stonehaven Energy LLC, the Pennsylvania-based energy industry financial advisory services firm is seeking $13.6 million, according to an SEC filing.

FINISHED FUNDRAISING

*Millennium Pharmacy Services, the Illinois-based prescription benefits manager completed a $7-million-plus round of fundraising, according to a recent SEC filing. Backers include Boulder Ventures, CHL Medical Partners and Essex Woodlands Health Ventures.

*Big Switch Networks, the California-based research technology firm, sold about $13.75 million in stock to a group of investors, the company reported in a federal filing.

*BioNanomatrix, the Pennsylvania-based genome analytics firm, raised about $23.3 million, according to an SEC filing. Investors in the Series B round included Domain Associates, Gund Investment, Battelle Ventures, KT Venture Group and Innovation Valley Partners.

*Gemvara, the Massachusetts-based jewelry company, raised $15 million in a Series C round from investors including Balderton Capital, Highland Capital Partners and Canaan Partners.
