Fons Lute has joined Dutch pension fund manager PGGM Investments as managing director of alternative strategies. He previously was CIO of Blue Sky Group.

Fons Lute (51) has joined PGGM Investments as Managing Director Alternatives Strategies with effect from 1 September. Lute completes the group of four Managing Directors (MDs) reporting to CIO Johan van der Ende. Until recently, Fons Lute was CIO of the Blue Sky Group. He is also a member of the Executive Board of Eumedion.

Following the appointment of Johan van der Ende as CIO, PGGM appointed Jaap van Dam as MD Portfolio Construction and Bob R�decker as MD Beta Portfolios from its own ranks. Jacques Kragt is fulfilling the role of MD Fundamental Strategies on an interim basis.
