Philip Ruppel has joined Navigtation Capital Partners as an analyst. He previously was part of the financial institutions group of Bear Stearns & Co.

Navigation Capital Partners, an Atlanta-based middle market private equity firm, announced the addition of Philip Ruppel as an analyst. In this role Ruppel will help evaluate prospective investment opportunities and monitor the firm’s portfolio of more than 20 operating companies.
“Under current economic conditions, capital is in short supply for many, while others are sitting on the sidelines. However, Navigation Capital Partners has the capital to conduct transactions and is actively looking for investments,” said Larry Mock, managing partner of Navigation Capital Partners. “Ruppel will provide key expertise for supporting these efforts.”
Prior to joining Navigation Capital Partners, Ruppel worked as an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. (Bear Stearns) in New York. At Bear Stearns, he was involved in a variety of advisory roles and transactions for various mergers and acquisitions and capital raises for specialty finance, insurance and depository institutions. Ruppel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Rhodes College.
