Canadian private equity firm Pinetree Capital, which focuses on investments in companies in metals, oil and gas and other natural resource sectors, has a new board of directors. Among the directors elected at Pinetree’s annual meeting was Sheldon Inwentash, Pinetree’s chairman and CEO, who founded the firm in 1992.

(PNP.TO) announces that at its annual and special shareholder meeting held earlier today, all of the nominees listed in its management information circular for the meeting were elected as directors of the company.
