Hunt Alternative Energy Investments is seeking a renewable energy project finance analyst. The hire will be responsible for early-stage investment screening and asset-based financial modeling. Familiarity with renewable energy modeling is strongly preferred. The analyst will also be expected to maintain project pipeline reports and draft screening and investment committee memos for senior management. One to three years of relevant industry experience are required, preferably in banking, private equity or energy development. The position is located in Washington, DC.

Opus Bank is recruiting an analyst or associate to join its merchant banking division, which includes Opus Equity Partners, a private equity fund that provides growth equity capital to middle-market companies, and Opus Financial Partners, a broker-dealer subsidiary and investment banking group providing advisory services for mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, growth equity capital, recapitalizations and other transactions. The analyst or associate will be responsible for working on both principal investing as well as investment banking transactions, and leveraging the merchant banking model in partnership with Opus’ commercial bank and lending capabilities. Applicants should have two to five years of experience at a top tier investment bank, private equity firm, or management consultancy. The position is located in New York.

Lion Equity Partners is searching for a business development associate. The successful candidate will work to source new deal investments, spending the majority of his or her time identifying and calling proprietary M&A opportunities. The associate is expected to speak confidently to high-level executives and investment bankers about the value of partnering with the firm. Qualifications include a strong academic record, an outgoing and driven personality, and exceptional communication skills. Experience with cold calling or sales is preferred. The position is located in Denver.

Boutique private equity firm UC Funds has an immediate opening for an asset manager. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing monthly property financials, creating financial models for investment valuation, performing on-site visits, and administering loan covenants including reserve draws. A minimum of five years’ experience in underwriting, special servicing, or fund-level management involving commercial real estate is required, as is a willingness to travel. The position is located in Boston.

Investment management consulting firm DiMeo Schneider & Associates is looking to hire an alternative investments analyst. The hire’s main function will be to assist in the evaluation of the operations of hedge fund and private equity managers that have been either approved by DiMeo Schneider or under consideration for approval. Other duties of the analyst include to maintain good working relationships with leaders of business operations of hedge funds and private equity managers, as well as the service providers of alternative investment managers. Secondary duties will be to assist the investment team with projects related to individual manager risk tracking and assessment. Candidates should have knowledge of trading and settlements, reconciliations, valuations, and compliance, with two to four years of relevant experience. The position is located in Chicago.
