Private Equity Jobs of the Week: BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Thrivent are hiring

A weekly roundup of jobs in the private equity industry – from buyout shops to venture capital funds to investment banks.

BlackRock Private Equity Partners is looking to hire an investment analyst. Duties include participating in due diligence, including preparing valuation analyses and summary reports; working with senior investment team members to evaluate and source opportunities; developing and maintaining relationships with intermediaries and private equity fund general partners; preparing diligence materials and presenting investment recommendations; and helping to mentor interns and other junior analysts. Experience or an educational degree in one of the five industries PEP invests in – energy, healthcare/life sciences, industrials, technology, and consumer – is a plus. The position is located in Princeton, New Jersey.

Goldman Sachs has an opening for an associate, finance. The hire will create pitches that include quantitative and qualitative analysis regarding FX and interest rate risk management and potential risk scenarios embedded in cross-border M&A and foreign currency debt capital raises. He or she will also serve as day-to-day client contact in the Technology, Media and Telecom sector and the private equity space, working closely and developing relationships with senior executives at both private equity firms and portfolio companies. Requirements include two years in a related finance position, including experience with a wide range of financial derivatives, FX products, and corporate accounting procedures. The position is located in New York.

Thrivent Finacial is recruiting an associate, private equity. The hire will support the private equity team in underwriting equity co-investments and funds, conduct fundamental analysis and communicate conclusions, research companies, industries, and private equity funds, perform financial modeling for new deal activity, and write investment memoranda. Qualifications include at least two years of experience in investment banking, accounting or finance. The position is located in Minneapolis.

Roundtable Investment Partners is seeking an associate, private equity investments. The successful candidate will review and source private equity and co-investment opportunities, assist in conducting due diligence on new and existing investments, monitor existing private direct investments, conduct industry and market research, and develop, update and maintain financial models. Qualifications include two to four years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or a family office. The position is located in New York.

Goodwin Proctor is searching for a highly qualified mid-level associate to join its private equity group. The successful candidate will have experience working in teams as well as managing components of transactions independently, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital deals, and exits and equity compensation. Applicants should also be able to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. The position is located in Washington, D.C.
