Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Facebook, Fortress, Oracle are hiring

Facebook is looking to hire an infrastructure strategy analyst. The group is responsible for data, financial and industry analysis related to the growth and improvement of the company’s infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have superior financial modeling, industry research and data analysis skills, with a proven track record of using quantitative data to influence decision-making. Qualifications include at least four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy, data science or management consulting. The position is located in Menlo Park, California.

Fortress Investment Group is seeking a private equity associate to join its Transportation and Infrastructure Team (NYSE: FTAI). The successful candidate will analyze new investment opportunities and assist in the management of existing investments; develop and manage flexible financial models; assist in all aspects of due diligence, including financial, accounting, tax, legal, and industry; and participate in strategic planning and budget processes. Qualifications include two to three years of experience as an analyst at a top-tier investment bank. The position is located in New York.

Oracle is hiring a director, venture capital/private equity ecosystem. The program seeks to partner with VC and PE firms and their portfolio companies in order to create a network of builders and innovators on the Oracle platform. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial individual with a track record and an existing network in venture capital and/or private equity. Startup experience is also desirable. The position is located in New York, San Francisco or Washington, D.C.

Latham & Watkins is searching for a practice development manager, global M&A and private equity. The hire will manage business development, marketing, and practice administrative activities, serving as a global connector of information and implementer of strategic initiatives in countries where the firm practices M&A and PE. Qualifications include knowledge of core M&A and PE concepts, as well as marketing principles. A JD or MBA is preferred; five to 10 years of relevant experience is desired. The position is located in New York.

BNP Paribas is in the market for an associate, Latin American M&A. Duties include supporting origination and execution, researching new business opportunities, preparing and reviewing presentations/pitchbooks, creating valuation models, preparing marketing materials, and coordinating with clients to ensure satisfactory follow-through. Candidates need three to five years’ experience working at a bulge bracket or large boutique investment bank, private equity fund, consultancy, or Big Four accounting firm. Fluency in Spanish is required. The position is located in New York.
