Private Equity Jobs of the Week: CapitalSpring, Z Capital Partners, HP Enterprise are hiring

CapitalSpring is seeking a senior associate/vice president. The position’s primary responsibility will be managing the investment process. The successful candidate will assist in all facets of transaction execution, including due diligence; structuring transactions; negotiating with the target company, shareholders and third parties; overseeing the preparation of legal documentation; coordinating third-party advisers; and managing investments and monitoring post-closing. The ideal candidate will have five to eight years’ experience in middle-market investment banking or private equity/debt. The position is located in Los Angeles.

Z Capital Partners is looking to hire a director, business development – private equity. The successful candidate will source and develop relationships with both large and middle-market corporate contacts and entrepreneurs across multiple industries, with the goal of identifying carve-out, add-on and acquisition targets not secured through the acquisition of debt instruments. Requirements include at least seven years of recent, relevant experience in a private equity investment origination role, and/or a successful track record of middle-market investment banking M&A experience. The position is located in the Greater New York City area.

Prudential is hunting for a private equity investment professional – fund investing. Duties include aiding portfolio managers in all aspects of sourcing, underwriting and diligence for primary fund investments, co-investments and secondary investments; ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting of investments as well as the aggregate portfolio; conducting market, industry and strategy research; and working with portfolio managers to optimize Prudential’s private equity portfolio. A minimum of seven years’ work experience is required, including at least there years of investing in private equity funds and co-investments. The position is located in Newark, New Jersey.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is searching for a senior associate, corporate venture capital. The hire will manage and support equity investments, strategic initiatives and strategic alliances. He or she will also work with business groups in HPE to develop growth strategies and establish build/invest/buy priorities. Qualifications include two to three years of experience in investment banking, corporate development or venture capital, and a good understanding of information technology and industries in which HPE competes. The position is located in Palo Alto, California.

Alvarez & Marsal is in the market for a human capital M&A director. The position will have lead responsibility for managing transactions from inception to completion, including providing a statement of work and relevant fees to the prospective client, leading interview calls with target management and their advisers, liaising with internal experts as required, and writing and issuing a formal diligence report. Candidates should have at least five years of experience, including in M&A, with particular focus on private equity clients. The position is located in New York.
