Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Deutsche Bank, Fortress Investment Group are hiring

Blackstone has an opening for a private equity associate. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data and developments, with a key focus on Asia and especially Korea markets; acting as point person for Korea transactions, in addition to regional Asia transactions; conducting research on targeted industries, primarily in Korea; performing valuation analyses of investment opportunities, including the assessment of financial risks; and overseeing transactions and current portfolio companies. Qualifications include fluency in English and Korean, with writing and reading abilities, and extensive exposure to private equity/ M&A transactions/ origination experience. Knowledge of Korea markets preferred. The position is located in Hong Kong.

Deutsche Bank is looking to hire a VP, private equity research. The hire will lead the diligence process by sourcing, evaluating and executing potential fund and direct investments across private equity, credit, real estate and infrastructure opportunities. He or she will also prepare concept papers, investment memoranda and financial models; monitor investments post-execution and conduct ongoing reviews; analyze performance of fund managers; participate in the group’s marketing/business development efforts; and manage junior staff. Candidates should have at least eight years of experience. The position is located in New York.

Fortress Investment Group is searching for a private equity analyst to join Drive Shack, an owner and operator of golf-related leisure and entertainment businesses. The successful candidate will build and maintain financial models; conduct market research primarily related to sports, real estate, leisure, media and entertainment; and participate in sourcing new opportunities. He or she will have the opportunity to work on the strategy and operations of various businesses. Qualifications include one to two years of investment banking; industry coverage in real estate, hospitality, gaming or leisure preferred. The position is located in New York, but may require frequent travel.

NextWorld Capital is recruiting an associate to work with the general partners to support the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, deal closing, and creation and articulation of the investment thesis. Candidates should have two to four years of prior experience in venture capital, startups, established tech companies (preferably in product, corporate development, or business development), or investment banking. The position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Spirit AeroSystems is seeking a corporate development (mergers & acquisitions) and strategy senior manager. The hire will be responsible for evaluating a range of business opportunities including M&A, investments, and other strategic options. He or she will assist in leading due diligence efforts and conduct extensive research on industries, potential partners, and competitors, communicating findings and recommendations to senior management and the executive team. At least eight years of corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or other transaction-related experience are required. Aerospace industry knowledge is a plus. The position is located in Wichita, Kansas.
