Ares Management is seeking a vice president of investor strategy and solutions. Duties include working with the head of investor strategy and solutions in initiatives relating to strategic partnerships, cross platform mandates, relationship management and investor strategy across all platforms of Ares Management; creating investment portfolio models for institutional investors; and performing research on potential investors, including complex cross platform mandates. Candidates should be college graduates with a major in economics, finance, general business or management preferred; five plus years of financial services experience is required. The position is in New York City. 

K1 Investments LLC is on the hunt for a private equity business development associate. Duties include leading in-person management meetings as the face of K1; sourcing and evaluating actionable investment opportunities in the enterprise software sector; creating and executing on investment theses within enterprise software; and managing the acquisition pipelines for current portfolio companies. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and two to four years of experience working in finance, consulting, sales or business development. The position is in Los Angeles.

Blackstone is seeking a 2019 private equity senior associate. The hire will work on companies in a wide range of industries on potential investments, acquisitions, analysis of potential exit opportunities and the monitoring of current portfolio companies. He or she will be involved in transaction due diligence, valuation analysis and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements. Candidates should be currently enrolled as an MBA student with anticipated Spring 2019 graduation date. Two Sigma Ventures is looking to hire an associate. The hire will be a hands-on contributor to all aspects of the firm’s investment process. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree from a top university; a passion for technology and science as evidenced by professional or academic accomplishments in computer science, engineering, math, design or another technical discipline; and two to five years of experience evaluating market structure, competitive dynamics and company financial performance at a leading management consulting firm, investment bank or venture fund. The position is in New York City.
