Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Argentum, Blackstone and BlackRock are hiring

Blackstone is on the hunt for an assistant vice president for its global fund finance – private equity finance and accounting team. The hire will manage responsibilities and assignments delegated to the New York and offshore teams; and manage quarterly close processes and review work papers related to internal reporting. Also, he or she will review of capital drawdowns, distributions and management fee calculations and billing statements. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting; and seven to 11 years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration. A CPA is preferred, not required. The position is in New York City.

Argentum Capital Partners is looking to hire a growth equity associate. The hire will be involved in every aspect of the investment lifecycle, from sourcing investment opportunities to managing due diligence processes and supporting the firm’s existing portfolio companies. This role is a two-year commitment with the opportunity for promotion for strong performers. Start date is fall 2021. The position is in New York City; however, the team has been remote through COVID.

Dorilton is searching for an investments associate. The hire will play a vital role in sourcing and executing investments, valuation analyses and strategic planning. Also, he or she will work with a cross-functional team on both new platform acquisitions and on-behalf of new and existing portfolio companies on bolt-on acquisitions. Candidates should have strong investment experience including two to three years of relevant work experience; and at least one year of experience in investment banking, private equity, or another financial and valuation analysis function. Experience in venture capital or growth capital is a plus. The position is in New York City.

BlackRock is seeking an investment associate/research analyst. The hire will assist in launching and scaling the firm’s small/mid-cap public and cross-over public/private funds. Duties include conducting company research and sourcing investment opportunities. Candidates should have a strong academic background and ideally two to four years of corporate finance experience in principal investing, investment banking/boutique, restructuring advisory or management consulting. The position is in New York City.
