Black Dragon Capital is seeking a CFO-level private equity partner. The hire will lead the pre-acquisition due diligence team and provide detailed and insightful analysis of the primary risks and opportunities of a target company; and establish and nurture relationships with entrepreneurs to earn their confidence in order to facilitate deals. Also, he or she will provide guidance to entrepreneurs to achieve growth while maintaining profitability in difficult operating environments. A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA and CPA are preferred. Candidates should have a willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include frequent travel; and have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in providing banking, accounting, auditing or financial planning. The position is in Boca Raton, Florida with some telework.

 

The Carlyle Group is searching for a two-year associate for its executive group. The hire will provide broad support to key senior executives: research and prepare presentations for internal and external investor meetings and conferences; compose scripts and other materials for prepared remarks. Also, he or she will research and analyze financial data and macroeconomic data; and collaborate across various global and domestic departments within the firm to lead and support special projects. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree required with a GPA of 3.5 or higher; a concentration in business, economics, finance or statistics is required. Also, they must have two to three years of post-graduate experience in a finance-oriented research/writing role. The position is in Washington, D.C.

 

Greycroft is seeking a two-year, pre-MBA investment associate. The hire will evaluate potential investments in early-stage companies through financial due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis; and assist in the preparation of fundraising documents, investment memos and investor updates. Also, he or she will manage/document meetings with entrepreneurs, portfolio company management meetings and general deal flow. Candidates should have a minimum of one to three years of relevant experience, including but not limited to investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, technology, or startups (preferably in product management or engineering). The position is in New York City.

Cantor Fitzgerald is looking to hire a M&A and restructuring corporate development/investment banking associate. Duties include advanced financial modeling; leading valuation analysis; preparing client presentations; performing client due diligence; and taking an active role in developing, structuring and executing transactions. Candidates should have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree in a financial discipline or a bachelors’ degree plus a minimum of three years experience in an investment banking analyst position or prior experience as an investment banking associate. The position is in New York City.

K1 Investments is on the hunt for a private equity business development associate. Duties include leading in-person management meetings as the face of K1; expanding K1’s relationship network with key industry contacts; sourcing and evaluating actionable investment opportunities in the enterprise software sector; creating and executing on investment theses within enterprise software; and managing the acquisition pipelines for current portfolio companies. Candidates should have two to four years of experience working in finance, consulting, sales or business development; and a background or interest in the enterprise software industry. A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred. The position is in Manhattan Beach, California.
