Private Equity Jobs of the Week: BlackRock, Apollo and Carlyle are hiring

BlackRock is looking to hire an investment management director for its long term private capital fund. The hire is expected to have a clear understanding of, prior experience in and the ability to drive the private equity investment process, including working with management and advisors to evaluate investment opportunities, executing transactions from legal negotiation to operational coordination and monitoring portfolio companies. Candidates should have over eight to 10 years of professional experience, ideally from leading buyout firms. Also, he or she should have a successful track record as an investor coupled with excellent understanding of global private equity markets. The position is in New York City.

Apollo Global Management is searching for a chief of staff associate. The hire will be heavily involved in developing and managing a broad range of business priorities alongside key stakeholders and will regularly have exposure to senior management. This will be a generalist role with exposure to all asset classes and businesses at Apollo. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two to five years of relevant experience at an investment bank, consulting firm, asset manager or in a corporate strategy role, ideally with a focus on financial institutions or asset management. The position is in New York City.

The Carlyle Group is seeking a credit investor relations. The hire will help lead marketing and investor servicing efforts for select businesses and funds within Carlyle’s credit platform. Duties include the creation of marketing collateral, due diligence materials, customized investor presentations and regular investor updates. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or another business-related discipline (accounting, economics); and four plus years of experience in a financial/consulting/business role or similar industry. Series 7/Series 82 and Series 63 are pluses. The position is in New York City.

Constitution Capital is on the hunt for a private equity analyst. The hire will focus on direct equity investment, partnership opportunities and direct credit investments, thereby gaining exposure to multiple investment strategies. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree at a top university with an exceptional academic record. Also, he or she should have an interest in gaining experience in the alternative asset management sector. The position is in the greater Boston area.
