BlackRock is seeking a U.S. private capital associate. The group is a private investment business unit of BlackRock’s Global Fundamental Credit Platform, which is focused on lending to middle-market companies through directly-originated investments (primarily junior debt). The successful candidate will focus on due diligence and portfolio company monitoring. Responsibilities include industry and company research and financial modeling. At least two years of experience in investment banking or private equity, as well as a finance or business degree, are required. The position is located in New York.

CapitalSpring is looking for a senior associate. The position’s primary responsibility will be evaluating and executing investment opportunities. The hire will assist in all facets of transaction execution, including origination and sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiating, overseeing the preparation of legal documentation, coordinating third-party advisors, managing investments and monitoring post-closing. Qualifications include five to seven years of combined experience in middle-market investment banking and private equity/debt investing. The position is located in Nashville.

Nationwide is searching for a consultant, venture capital. Nationwide Ventures invests in insurance and financial services startups. This position will be responsible for investment screening, researching and performing due diligence, transaction execution, project management and support of partnership efforts with portfolio companies as well as other startups. Candidates should have two to five years of experience in a related role in venture capital, strategic consulting, investment banking, equity research or corporate development. The position is located in Columbus, Ohio.

KeyBank has an opening for an investment banking associate, technology. The hire will work with corporate finance investment bankers and product partners on M&A, strategic corporate finance, and capital raising transactions in the technology sector. He or she will perform financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies and develop marketing materials for topics such as company positioning, financing alternatives, and M&A strategic alternatives. Qualifications include an MBA and at least three years of investment banking experience in a technology group. The position is located in Boston.

Trident Capital Cybersecurity is in the market for a venture capital associate. Responsibilities include assisting in the investment process from initial meeting to due diligence; researching and developing intelligence on emerging trends and disruptive companies; preparing investment memoranda and portfolio reporting; and coordinating internal operations such as weekly roundup meetings, CRM and research databases. Candidates need two to six years’ experience in product management, consulting, investment banking, venture capital or private equity. The position is located in San Mateo, California.
