Amplio Ventures is seeking to hire a chief investment officer. The hire will shape the firm’s diligence and investment processes, manage the fund and its portfolio to maximize the financial return to investors, and ensure that lasting impact is achieved. This position will report to the fund’s investment committee as well as the partners at Amplio Ventures in the day-to-day management of the fund. Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in “high-performance environment” (i.e. investment banking, private equity, venture capital, etc.). He or she should have a graduate degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution; a CFA and/or MBA is preferred but not necessary. The position is in Boston.

BlackRock is searching for a private equity transactions counsel and vice president. The hire will assist in the management and negotiations of other public and private equity investments, joint ventures, co-investments, private placements, sub-underwritings, PIPE, pre-IPO investments and similar transactions on behalf of BlackRock funds and accounts under management. Also, he or she will act as lead transaction counsel on deals, manage transaction execution, review and negotiate a full range of deal documentation. Candidates should have a J.D. with superior academic credentials from a nationally-recognized law school and five to six years’ experience as a lawyer in a major law firm or the legal department of an asset manager, investment bank or another leading organization. The position is in New York City.

Rothschild & Co Bank is looking for a private equity associate. The hire will work with a dedicated team to perform due diligence of secondary private equity investment opportunities, including conducting market and company research, formulating valuation analyses, creating, running and managing financial models and developing balanced, fact-based investment committee recommendations. Also, he or she will actively participate in meetings with general partners and company management teams, contribute to team discussions, diligence discussions and client meetings. Candidates should have three to five years of work experience, preferably in either the private equity secondary or co-investment industry in an investment role. The position is in New York City.

North Sky Capital is on the hunt for a private equity secondaries investment professional. Duties include analyzing potential fund and company investments, researching industries and companies, conducting due diligence, performing valuation analysis, sourcing investment opportunities and participating in meetings with private equity firms. Candidates should have at least two years of private equity secondaries investment experience. A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting is strongly preferred. The position is in Minneapolis.
