The hire will help private equity clients assess potential target companies and their related markets in commercial diligence and also work with the firm’s clients to help maximize value of their existing portfolio companies. Candidates should have extensive experience working in private equity commercial due diligence, most likely within management consulting. They should also have three plus years of post-graduate school consulting experience working with private equity firms; and one plus years of line management experience. An in-depth experience in a particular industry vertical is a plus (e.g. industrial goods, healthcare, business services, consumer products, retail, etc.). The position can be in New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Toronto.
Blackstone is seeking a private equity associate for its global fund finance group. The hire will provide support to the front-office professionals, addressing a variety of investor relations matters and work with business development on new funds and products. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting; and four to six years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration. A CPA is preferred, not required. The position is in New York City.

The hire will participate in all aspects of private market investments, as well as develop investment skills and build industry relationships. This position will focus on private equity primary, secondary and co-investments in and alongside private equity funds. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a preferred coursework emphasis on business administration, accounting, finance and/or economics. Also required: two to three years of investment banking experience or comparable work experience. The position is in New York City.
