The hire will aid portfolio managers in all aspects of the investment sourcing, underwriting and diligence process for primary fund investments, co-investments, and secondary investments; and perform ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting of investments as well as the aggregate portfolio. Also, he or she will work with operations, accounting, tax and legal departments as part of the investment due diligence and execution process; and conduct market, industry and strategy research and be informed about current and developing sector trends as well as support related analytical projects. Candidates should have five years of relevant work experience (i.e. private equity, credit underwriting, valuation work, or investment banking). An accounting or financial undergraduate degree with MBA or CFA is preferred. The position is in Newark, New Jersey.

The hire will be responsible for analytics around balance sheet, capital structure, and liquidity management; coordinate with asset management on key asset initiatives; and monitor investment pipeline and coordinate with various parties to support closings. Candidates should have five to eight years of experience; prior real estate investment, investment banking, or portfolio/fund management experience is preferred. The position is in New York City.

The hire will qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate potential transactions including performing detailed sector and company research and analysis LP portfolio analysis. Also, he or she will conduct due diligence and assist with deal execution and transaction management.
