Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Invesco, Goldman Sachs are hiring

Blackstone Group is seeking a business analyst for GSO Capital Partners, its global credit investment platform. The hire will perform ongoing reviews of investment team practices and develop strategies for process improvement, serve as a key interface between the investment team and the technology group, and identify reporting requirements. At least two years of work experience and strong technical problem-solving skills are required. The position is located in New York.

Invesco is searching for a private equity associate. Responsibilities include performing financial modeling and analysis, conducting company and industry research, assisting with investment execution, preparing presentations and other written materials, and monitoring markets and portfolio investments. Prior experience as an investment banking analyst with at least one full year in a restructuring, leveraged finance, M&A, or relevant industry group required; experience at a credit-focused buy-side firm (e.g. hedge fund, direct lending, BDC) is a plus. The position is located in New York.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management has an opening for an analyst in its private credit group. The successful candidate will analyze potential investment opportunities, prepare screening and investment committee memos, interface directly with private equity funds, executives, other professionals within Goldman Sachs and third-party due diligence providers, participate in the transaction closing process, and perform ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies. Qualifications include two to four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, management consulting and/or other relevant fields. The position is located in New York.

Silicon Valley Bank is looking to hire a director/managing director – loan syndications for capital calls/subscription facilities. The role will be to act as primary contact for syndicating SVB-lead arranged capital call lines or subscription facilities for private equity and venture capital funds to top partner lending institutions. Responsibilities include supporting agented loan transactions in order to streamline the syndication process and generate fee income, evaluating new customer relationships to determine SVB’s ability to lead transactions and manager overall underwriting/market risk, and providing market analysis and risk commentary on structure and pricing. The position is located in New York.

Robert W. Baird is in the market for an investment banking analyst – industrial. The hire will provide analytical support on mergers and acquisitions and public offerings, assist in the preparation of company valuations, financial models, marketing documents, and client presentations, and perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation. Candidates need at least 12 months of full-time experience working at a top-tier investment bank. The position is located in Milwaukee, WI.
