Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, ORIX and Gen II are hiring

Gen II Fund Services LLC is looking to hire a director of private equity. The hire will direct the day-to-day accounting and fund administration for multiple investment sponsors and provide extensive hands-on involvement in preparing and reviewing work papers, investments, accruals, financial statements with footnotes and investor allocations. Candidates should have seven plus years of fund accounting experience in either a private equity fund, a private equity fund administrator, or another financial institution where the candidate has gained financial products knowledge. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics; advanced mezzanine/credit/loan origination investment experience is preferred. The position is in New York City.

Blackstone is on the hunt for a private equity co-investment vice president for its Strategic Partners unit. The hire will be responsible for leading the sourcing, analysis and execution of investment transactions for the co-investment platform. Also, he or she will be involved in all aspects of transaction due diligence, including valuation analysis, financial modeling and management meetings across all private equity asset classes. Candidates should have five to eight years of experience, with at least two to three years of private equity investing experience. The position is in New York City.

ORIX Capital Partners is searching for a vice president. Responsibilities include analyzing, evaluating and executing private equity investment opportunities; conducting due diligence and analytical work on potential investments; and overseeing the building of complex financial models by the associates. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or be a class of May 2020 MBA graduate from a top-tier university. He or she should have four plus years of relevant work experience with principal investment experience in private equity. The position is in New York City.

Church Pension Group Services Corporation is seeking an investment analyst for its three-year program. The hire will support the overall investment process by helping to manage and update the FIS Investran database of CPG’s portfolio companies and property characteristics, transactions and exposures. Also, he or she will prepare analyses and reports with guidance from senior investment professionals. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree; a finance, economics or accounting degree is preferred. Applicants should have one year or more of relevant work experience. The position is in New York City.
