Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Partners Group, Vista Equity Partners are hiring

Blackstone Group is searching for a private equity portfolio operations analyst. The hire will provide analysis and onsite support of key initiatives across the portfolio, help drive the cross-portfolio group purchasing initiative, support expansion of new purchasing categories globally, and liaise with Blackstone deal team members, finance, IT, and portfolio company executives to ensure high-quality reporting and analysis of performance. Qualifications include two to three years of work experience at a PE firm, consulting company or accounting firm, preferably in an operating environment. The position is located in New York.

Partners Group is looking for an investment manager, private equity integrated investments. The successful candidate will perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective primary fund commitments; source, review and execute co-investments alongside GPs, and joint-lead investments in collaboration with the direct investment team; source and evaluate the purchase of existing LP commitments on the secondary market; and manage a subset of Partners Group’s core GP relationships. Six to 10 years with a leading PE player, including proven experience executing primary fund investments as well a direct investments, are expected. The position is located in Denver.

Vista Equity Partners is seeking an experienced private equity analyst. Responsibilities include helping to evaluate investment opportunities, research industry dynamics, manage portfolio company reporting, and raise investment capital. Candidates need one to three years of relevant work experience (i.e. consulting, software/data, finance, accounting, alternative investment funds). The position is located in Chicago.

Prudential Financial wants to hire a vice president, private equity funds, co-investments and secondary investments. Duties include originating opportunities, leading the deal team in evaluating and underwriting investments, and active monitoring of Prudential’s core private equity relationships. At least five years of investing experience required. The position is located in Newark, NJ.

Goldman Sachs has an opening for an analyst in its private credit group, GSAM Credit Alternatives. Responsibilities include analyzing potential investment opportunities; preparing screening memos and investment committee memos; interfacing directly with private equity funds, C-level executives, other professionals within Goldman Sachs and third-party due diligence providers during deal origination and execution process; participating in the transaction closing process; and performing ongoing due diligence and monitoring of portfolio companies. Two to four years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or management consulting required. The position is located in New York.
