Duties include working with the SP general counsel, SP legal staff and external counsel on all legal documents relating to transaction negotiation and execution; advising on fund formation and legal matters relating to fund marketing; and partnering with the SP general counsel and chief compliance officer to implement the funds’ compliance programs. Candidates should have eight to 12 years of directly related legal experience in a law firm, private equity or hedge fund environment with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations. Also required: undergraduate and law degrees. The position is in New York City.
Rotunda Capital Partners is searching for a senior associate/vice president. The hire will be involved in all aspects of the investment process including working on potential investments, add-on acquisitions, analysis of potential exit opportunities and the monitoring of current portfolio companies. He or she will be involved in transaction due diligence, valuation analysis and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements. Candidates should have a minimum of four to seven years of experience at a middle-market investment bank, mezzanine lender or private equity firm. They should also have an undergraduate degree and/or MBA from a top-tier institution and with a superior academic performance record. The position is in Bethesda, Maryland.
Great Point Partners is seeking a private equity associate. The hire completes financial analyses, runs financial models, makes customer reference checks and carries out competitive analyses. Associates are typically involved in closing one to three investments per year and working within a team of three to four investment professionals. Additional responsibilities include supporting the firm’s portfolio companies, completing tuck-in acquisitions and participating at board meetings. Candidates should have two to three years of investment banking, management consulting or investment management experience; and a strong record of academic achievement in college, typically graduating with academic honors. The position is in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Blue River Partners is on the hunt for a senior associate for its senior compliance team. Duties include assisting in the monitoring and maintaining of compliance programs for clients to ensure compliance with federal securities laws, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended; and conducting forensic testing and verification of internal controls for clients to comply with prevailing rules and regulations. Also, he or she will assist with managing clients’ registrations with applicable regulators, including the SEC and CFTC; and assist with preparing and maintaining Form ADV. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related field and two to five years of investment advisor compliance industry experience supporting RIA compliance programs. The position is in Dallas.
