Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, Macquarie, Hudson Advisors are hiring

The Blackstone Group is seeking a financial associate, private equity. The successful candidate will perform daily accounting functions for the fund including reviewing journal entries, analyzing general ledger accounts, handling limited partner requests, preparing investment funding and expense wires, booking journal entries as needed, reconciling high-priority cash transactions, and performing quarter-end close processes. Three to five years of experience at a public or private firm is required. The position is located in New York.

Macquarie Capital is recruiting a Latin American infrastructure analyst. The hire will join a team offering full M&A advisory services, capital markets advisory, restructuring & special situations and principal investing. Qualifications include one to two years of transactional experience, ideally at an investment bank, private equity firm, project finance lender or similar. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential. The position is located in New York.

Hudson Advisors is on the hunt for a senior analyst, asset management. The hire will primarily focus on the management and monetization of one or more assets and/or operating companies, as well as providing support to the teams responsible for private equity and alternative asset investment origination. He or she will also support the vice presidents and directors with analytics and due diligence, and assist with the development and execution of key business plans and initiatives. Candidates should have two to four years in investment banking or private equity, with experience in transactions/acquisitions. The position is located in Dallas.

Verisk Analytics is looking to hire an M&A analyst, strategic finance. The successful candidate will participate in diligence calls to understand a seller’s business, historical trends, and expected future results. Other key responsibilities include supporting model/forecast development and business valuation, preparing reports and summaries of diligence, forecasts and valuation, and tracking the M&A pipeline and analyzing the performance of completed transactions. Two to four years’ experience in public accounting, private equity, investment banking, or sell-side research are required. The position is located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Banc of California is recruiting a finance analyst, corporate strategy. The hire will provide financial, analytical, and strategic support for evaluating potential M&A candidates and joint venture partners. Qualifications include four years of relevant experience (investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, venture capital, corporate strategy). The position is located in Irvine, California.
