Bowdoin College is searching for a director of private equity. The hire will be a senior member of the investment team and be expected to take a leadership role in a broad range of activities, including interacting with the investment committee as well as mentoring junior staff and interns. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant investment management experience with a focus on third-party manager evaluation. An in-depth experience with non-marketable managers is required. An MBA and/or CFA is preferred. The position is in Brunswick, Maine.

Enlightenment Capital is seeking associates. The successful hires will perform private debt/equity investment analysis; support portfolio analysis/monitoring and transaction diligence; manage reporting requirements; and help support other key aspects of the business. Candidates must have investment banking, accounting or private equity/credit experience in addition to top flight academic credentials. Neuberger Berman is looking to hire an associate for its secondary private equity team. Duties include screening and conducting due diligence on secondary private equity investment opportunities; performing in-depth research and financial analysis on companies and assets from various stages, sectors and geographies; and assisting with the preparation of due diligence materials, screening and investment committee memos. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials (both undergraduate school and GPA) and at least one to two years of top-tier investment banking and/or private equity experience. The position is in New York City.

Grotech Ventures is on the hunt for an analyst/associate. The hire will take a proactive role in deal flow creation through networking and actively participating in venture/startup related events; conduct pre-investment due diligence, financial modeling and deal structural analysis; research new potential investment areas and companies; and ultimately help execute and manage the firm’s investments. Candidates should have prior experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, or applicable experience at a technology company or startup. The position is in Arlington, Virginia.
