Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Cambridge Associates, GCM Grosvenor and Wells Fargo are hiring

Cambridge Associates is seeking an investment director. The hire will oversee and participate in all aspects of client projects, which include performing analytical tasks, developing recommendations, supervising investment associates, developing presentation materials and presenting recommendations directly to board members, family members or principals in a family office. An BA/BS is required; an MBA or CFA is strongly preferred. Candidates should have appropriate investment knowledge and experience, gained from work at an investment firm or a large institutional investor or family office. The position is in Singapore.

Wells Fargo Strategic Capital is looking to hire a venture capital and private equity vice president of its healthcare division. The hire will be involved in interaction at all levels with internal and external constituents including portfolio companies, partner investors, other Wells Fargo lines of business, and the WFSC investment committee. The VP will also participate as a key contributor to lean deal teams in all aspects of the investment process. Candidates should have five plus years of experience in one or a combination of the following: commercial banking relationship management, corporate banking relationship management, portfolio management, equity or venture capital investing experience. A graduate-level degree (e.g., MBA, MD, Ph.D) is strongly preferred. The position is in San Francisco.

GCM Grosvenor is on the hunt for a secondaries associate. The hire will coordinate due diligence processes on transactions, including the research of underlying portfolio investments, the creation of detailed valuation models and the development of acquisition structures. Also, he or she will play an active role in investment transactions from start to finish, including legal documentation and all closing logistics. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic credentials; an MBA or CFA is a plus but not required. Also, applicants should have four to six years of relevant work experience, which include, but are not limited to, the following areas of specialty: M&A, leveraged finance, corporate finance, valuation services or private equity. Prior private equity secondary related investment/transaction experience is not required. The position is in New York City.

AMERRA Capital Management LLC is looking to hire a private equity associate. The hire will support evaluation of new investment opportunities; screen, analyze, conduct due diligence and prepare and present recommendations on private equity investment opportunities to the investment committee; and build financial models, return analysis and cash flow projections. Candidates must have worked in a private equity fund, investment bank, consulting firm or financial institution. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus. The position is in New York City.
