Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Carlyle, Ardian and Bain Capital are hiring

The Carlyle Group is on the hunt for a principal for its global private equity investor relations group. The hire will support relationship managers during fundraising with fund or product expertise in infrastructure; and manage existing investors, including responding to requests and providing updates. Also, he or she will provide expertise on funds/products throughout lifecycle; and act as product spokesperson. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and seven plus years of relevant experience in investor relations, preferably within real assets and infrastructure. The position is in either Washington, D.C. or New York.

Bain Capital is looking to hire a summer vice president for its North America private equity group. The position is a 10-week opportunity. Summer VPs will learn how to evaluate investment opportunities through the application of fundamental strategic analysis. Summer VPs may also be exposed to a variety of portfolio company issues (e.g. potential add-on investments, liquidity options, improving core operations) and will gain unique operating experience. Candidates should be currently enrolled in an MBA degree program. The position is in Boston.

Ardian is seeking an investment manager for its co-investment team. Duties include monitoring of U.S. deal flow and research on potentially actionable opportunities; and monitoring of existing portfolio companies and providing quarterly update materials. Candidates should be fluent in English and have two to four years of prior work experience in private equity/investment banking/strategy consulting. The position is in New York City.

Macquarie Group is searching for a venture capital analyst for its green investment group. Duties include conducting industry and company research, performing due diligence, financial analysis, financial models, presentations and investment committee memoranda with the view of executing investment and capital raising opportunities. Candidates should have two to three years in the investment banking industry or investing experience. The position is in either San Francisco or New York.
