Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Fosun, Cambridge, APFC and PNC Riverarch are hiring

A weekly roundup of jobs in the private equity industry – from buyout shops to venture capital funds to investment banks.

 The Fosun Group is seeking an investment managing director. The hire will work on all aspects of the private equity investment process. Duties will include originating and analyzing investment opportunities and leading investment teams throughout the investment process; and assisting senior professionals in negotiations and transaction documentation process. Applicants should have eight to 10 years of work experience, including several years of successfully leading investments at an established private equity firm. Superior relationship-building, communication and presentation skills and international work experience required. A graduate degree is preferred but not essential. The position is in New York or Texas.

 Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation is looking to hire a senior portfolio manager of private equity and special opportunities. The hire will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, selecting, monitoring and managing investments. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of five years’ relevant professional experience with a reputable private equity group. He or she should have demonstrated familiarity with modern financial theories and global capital markets. The position is in Juneau, Alaska.

Cambridge Associates is seeking an investment director in its private clients practice. The hire will develop appropriate financial and investment goals, asset allocation policies and investment manager structures. Also, he or she will conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, select or recommend appropriate managers for investments and evaluate performance of individual managers and total portfolios. A BA/BS is required; an MBA or CFA is strongly preferred. Candidates should have three to five years of investment experience. The position is in Boston.

PNC Riverarch Capital is searching for a business development officer – private equity. The hire should have knowledge of the investments business and ability to analyze and evaluate asset types, market and industry trends, major issues and regulatory considerations. Candidates should have a university/college degree and a minimum of three years of business development, marketing or sales experience. He or she should also an understanding of capital markets, M&A and financial statements, with a strong preference towards experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting. The position is in Pittsburgh.

GPB Capital is looking to hire a private equity associate. The hire will work on consumer/retail-related deals as the firm looks to invest specifically in the automotive space and waste space. Applicants should have two plus years of investment banking, private equity or related investment experience. The term is for two to three years with potential for career track. The start date is immediate/flexible summer 2018. The position is New York.
