Responsibilities include conducting research to support the development of investment strategies and to identify transaction opportunities; helping to establish investment theses, identify value creation strategies, and develop ideas for transaction structure; financial modeling and valuation; preparing investment committee presentation materials and other transaction documents; and working with operational teams on the due diligence process. Four to six years of relevant experience, including at least two in private equity, are required. The position is located in New York.
Financial Technology Partners is searching for a research analyst. Duties include identifying high-growth companies and performing valuations and priority assessments, researching significant M&A and private capital raising transactions and producing high-quality reports, working closely with senior bankers on developing and implementing business development strategies, and researching all aspects of private equity firms, including their portfolio companies and investment strategies. Candidates should be recent graduates or graduating by June 2018; finance, economics, or accounting degree preferred. The start date is July 9, 2018. The position is located in San Francisco.
Regent is seeking an M&A analyst, private equity. The hire will evaluate new investment opportunities for risks and possible returns, driven by detailed financial analysis, and prepare material for internal investment summaries based on third-party information. He or she will also participate in the full length of the M&A process. At least one to two years of related work experience in corporate development, financial services, M&A investment banking or private equity is preferred. The position is located in Los Angeles.
Pfizer is in the market for a senior director, venture capital. The role is being created as part of Pfizer’s expanded venture capital strategy. The hire will eventually lead and manage the venture portfolio, investing in early-stage private biotech/technology companies aligned with Pfizer’s scientific and business strategies. He or she will need to create a network of external contacts within the entrepreneurial startup ecosystem including founders, investors, bankers, lawyers, and other service providers. A minimum of five years’ related pharmaceutical development experience is required. The position is located in New York.
