Great Point Partners is seeking a private equity associate. The hire will complete financial analyses, run financial models, make customer reference checks and carry out competitive analyses. Associates are typically involved in closing one to three investments per year and work within a team of three to four investment professionals. Candidates should have two to three years of investment banking, management consulting or investment management experience. He or she should send a resume that includes a college GPA and standardized test scores along with a one-page cover letter stating his/her interest in Great Point Partners and qualifications for the position to Rohan Saikia. The position is in Greenwich, Connecticut.

ICONIQ Capital is on the hunt for a senior investment associate. The hire will evaluate investment managers and co-investments across public and private markets, with a focus on private equity. Other duties include developing proprietary research on asset classes and capital markets and conducting performance measurement and attribution. Candidates should have a minimum of four years of experience in buy-side investing, equity or fixed income research, investment banking, consulting or another quantitative role with a proven record of academic achievement; an CFA and/or CAIA is preferred. The position is in San Francisco.

 

Global Founders Capital is searching for a venture capital associate. Duties include proposing new investment targets and screening inbound deal-flow; performing industry landscape evaluations; doing market sizing and competitor research; building financial models to stress test unit economics; and participating in meetings with founders. Candidates should have an outstanding degree from a top university. The position is in New York City.

 

Ares Management LP is looking to hire a real estate equity analyst. He or she will create detailed and complex financial underwriting models for the acquisition and development of real estate investments; perform asset-level and market-level due diligence; and develop a thorough understanding of a deal’s capital structure and business plan and key risks to performance through discussions with sponsors, market participants and investment professionals. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate or related field with exceptional academic credentials; and one to two years of financial experience. Previous experience in real estate investment banking or real estate private equity is preferred. The position is New York City.
