The hire, who will report to the head of investor relations, will serve as a point of contact for existing investors and work with senior leaders and members throughout the asset management & funding team to participate in the preparation of capital campaigns, due diligence, reporting and ad hoc investor requests. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, communications or other relevant disciple. Also, they should have six plus years in investor relations for an asset management firm/alternative investment and/or private credit underwriting for a top US direct lending firm. The hybrid position is in either Chicago or New York City.
NP Private Equity, Neuberger Berman’s private equity platform, is looking to hire a post-MBA associate. This would be for the secondary private equity team. The hire will “gain a broad experience and contribute to every aspect of our investment cycle.” Buyside experience is strongly preferred. The position is in New York City.
HarbourVest Partners is on the hunt for a primary portfolio associate. The hire will prepare and maintain monitoring materials for all new and prospective primary portfolio investment funds and separately managed accounts. Also, he or she will provide oversight for the pipeline manager capacity and investment pacing for U.S. primary partnership investments. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in accounting/finance as well as three to five years of work experience. The hybrid position is in Boston.
Apogem Capital, a New York Life Investments Company, is seeking a pre-MBA associate to join its private equity investment team. The hire will provide analysis of and development of investment recommendation thesis for primary fund commitments and direct equity co-investments. Quantitative responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation and returns analysis, and fund benchmarking. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree, be analytically inclined, and possess at least two years of relevant experience from a top-tier investment bank or private equity firm. The position will either be in New York City or Richmond, Virginia.
