Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience at a middle market, reputable boutique or regional investment bank serving the middle market with demonstrable M&A execution experience within the consumer sector; also, he or she should have a bachelor’s, master’s or MBA degree. Invesco is on the hunt for a compliance manager of private equity and alternative investments. The hire will design, implement and monitor programs, policies and practices for compliance with regulatory and policy requirements by the relevant business areas. Also, he or she will partner with the CCO to periodically revise the program considering changes in the needs of the organization, including the broader IPM platform, and in the law and policies and procedures surrounding RIAs and alternatives firms. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of financial services industry experience required with three years of direct investment adviser compliance experience. Also, he or she should have compliance experience with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940; experience with the regulatory environment (SEC, CFTC/NFA, FINRA, and AIFMD regimes); and a broad knowledge of federal securities laws and regulations. Cerberus Capital Management is searching for a financial due diligence associate. The hire will spearhead the compilation and presentation of the quality of earnings analysis for potential acquisition targets as well as assisting the investment team in evaluating the impact of the analysis on their model. Also, he or she will evaluate the debt structure and identify “debt-like items” of potential acquisition targets, whether or not recorded on the company’s balance sheet. Candidates should have experience in M&A transactions with a focus on financial due diligence; modeling skills are a plus. Also, he or she should have a BA or BS with an excellent academic record.
