Duties include leading coordination coverage for private equity sponsors related to financing opportunities, developing relationships with key parties at sponsors and identifying likely transaction opportunities generating revenue with acquirers and targets. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in investment banking. A master’s degree is preferable. Series 7/79, 63 and 24 licenses are required. The position is in New York.

GPB Capital is looking for a private equity director. The hire will work on executing and managing investments specifically in the automotive and waste space. Applicants should have 5 plus years of investment banking, private equity or related investment experience; automotive or waste management experience is preferred. The position is in New York.

Law firm Goodwin Procter is searching for an associate (class of 2014-2016) to join its private investment funds group in its private equity business unit. Candidate must have general experience both working in teams and in managing substantial components of transactions independently, along with specific experience representing domestic and international venture capital and private equity funds in structuring, formation and operation. Also, he or she should have experience with private placements under the Securities Act of 1933 and unregistered funds under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and have exposure to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. New York bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) is required. Oz Management is seeking to hire an investor relations operations associate. Duties include completing and reviewing due diligence questionnaires for multi-strategy, credit and private equity vehicles and frequent interaction with investor relations team, legal, compliance, accounting, tax, portfolio managers, analysts, IT and operations regarding new product launches, serving and custom requests. Candidates should have four to six years experience in alternatives (hedge funds, private equity) or institutional asset management. A bachelor’s degree is required. The position is in New York.

Jefferies Private Capital Group is seeking to hire an analyst for its investment banking – private capital group. The hire will serve as a core member of the project management team for fund placement and direct financing engagements. Duties include evaluating potential placement assignments, preparing offering materials, including presentations, PPMs and due diligence materials, and managing the fundraising process. Candidates should have one to three years of related experience as well as a four-year degree from a leading college/university with a distinguished academic background. The position is in New York.
