Private Equity Jobs of the Week: LLR Partners, Hamilton Lane and Neuberger Berman are hiring

LLR Partners is seeking a director of strategy and operations. The hire will provide analysis direction and senior support to the general partners of the fund and will help drive firm initiatives and process improvements. Candidates should have a minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience, which may include management consulting operating roles with similar responsibilities or private equity portfolio support roles. Experience working with private equity firms is preferred although not required. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree; an MBA is preferred. The position is in Philadelphia.

Hamilton Lane is searching for an associate for its secondary investment team. The hire will assume a lead role in the modeling and analysis of private equity secondary transactions; and prepare investment memoranda for the firm’s investment committee. Also, he or she will analyze private equity companies and funds using leveraged buyout models; construct comparable company analyses; and develop multiple projection scenarios through company and industry research. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience within the following financial industry segments: private equity, investment banking, capital markets or valuation services. Prior private equity secondary- related investment experience is preferred but not required. The position is in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

Seaport Capital is on the hunt for a private equity investor relations and marketing associate. Responsibilities include assisting in limited partner outreach and communication; researching potential new LP relationships; fundraising planning and coordination in conjunction with Seaport Capital’s partners; and maintenance of Seaport’s LP reporting. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and five plus years professional experience in an office environment. Also, he or she should have previously worked in either investor relations, private equity or a B2B marketing role. The position is in New York.

Neuberger Berman is searching for a due diligence associate. The hire will project manage due diligence process; assist with due diligence on prospective fund managers; and provide analysis relating to investments made by the fund manager at a fund-level and at position-level. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of combined experience in management consulting, business analysis and project management preferably within or for the alternative investment industry; an MBA, CFA/CAIA or other advanced degree is a plus. The position is in New York.

Dreamit Ventures is seeking an investment analyst. The hire will conduct comprehensive market/industry, financial, operational, business and return due diligence on potential investments for Dreamit’s venture funds. He or she will prepare thorough diligence presentations for Dreamit’s investment committee on potential portfolio companies; and create financial models, including scenario analysis, to support Dreamit’s investment team with internal strategy discussions. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience in venture capital, private equity or investment banking. The position is in Philadelphia.

Texas Municipal Retirement System is looking to hire a private equity investment analyst. The hire will analyze and monitor processes to ensure compliance and consistency with industry best practices and research; and identify testing methods to monitor compliance with investment policy and agreements in conjunction with the compliance team. Also, he or she will provide analysis and evaluate the performance of current and prospective investment asset managers and/or investment sub-asset classes. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics or a related field. The position is in Austin.
