The hire will work with clients to develop appropriate financial and investment goals, investment policies, risk management frameworks, risk budgets, de-risking plans as appropriate and investment manager structures. He or she will conduct due diligence on investment opportunities; select or recommend appropriate managers for investments; and evaluate performance of individual managers and total portfolios. They will interact directly with the pension committees, finance executives and chief investment officers of plan sponsors. A BA/BS is required; an MBA or CFA is strongly preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of investment experience. The position is in Boston.
CIM Group is seeking to hire an investment associate. He or she will support the lead portfolio oversight for one or more CIM investment funds. CIMs portfolio oversight function leads coordinated efforts among internal teams to enhance portfolio performance, guide internal and external communications and serve as the main point of contact for product-specific fundraising initiatives. Candidates should have one to three years’ experience in real estate or investment banking or a related field; an MBA is preferred. He or she should have demonstrated experience with financial modeling. The position is in Los Angeles.
Macquarie Group is looking to hire a senior associate for its infrastructure and real assets team. The hire will identify and execute M&A; advise portfolio company management in developing business plans and strategy; identify and deliver operational and financial improvements; and actively participate in board discussions. He or she will focus primarily on energy infrastructure investments, comprised of utility, conventional and renewable power, midstream and downstream infrastructure. Candidates must have four to six years of experience in private equity, corporate development or investment banking, including sector experience in energy infrastructure. The position is in New York.
Performance Equity Management is searching for an investment analyst. The hire will analyze and monitor performance of fund managers and underlying portfolio companies; support the diligence process evaluating new private equity fund investments, direct co-investments and secondary transactions; prepare, analyze and explain historical and projected financial information; and produce written reports and presentations for the investment committee summarizing investment recommendations and providing analytical support. Candidates should have a strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.2) and undergraduate degree from top university. He or she should have a minimum of two years of investment and/or analytical experience; a background in asset management, equity research or consulting/accounting is preferred. Pre-MBA applicants are preferred. The position is in Greenwich, Connecticut.
