The Macquarie Group is on the hunt for a senior vice-president for its Latin America energy principal investments team. The hire will be responsible for managing the transaction through the full life-cycle. In addition to sourcing transactions, he or she will lead the team which analyzes and structures the transaction, be the lead in negotiations with external parties and present the investment rationale to internal investment and risk committees. Candidates should have fluency in English and Spanish, a master’s degree and prior experience in energy investments in Latin America. The position is in New York City.

SeedInvest is seeking a principal to join its venture team. He or she should have significant experience in leading deal sourcing at a top-tier venture capital fund, growth equity fund, private equity fund or investment bank. Candidates should have a BA/BS degree from a top-tier institution, a proven track record of sourcing, evaluating and closing deals as well as a experience in building and managing a team. Please do not apply if you do not have at least five to seven years of experience in venture capital, private equity, growth equity and/or investment banking. The position is in New York City.

Wind Point Partners is seeking an associate interested in gaining experience in private equity prior to pursuing a graduate degree in business. The hire will take an active role in researching and evaluating new investment opportunities, working with potential and existing executives, executing new deals and working with portfolio companies. Typically, he or she will have two to four years of investment banking, consulting or private equity experience. The position is in Chicago.

PSP Investments is looking to hire an associate. The hire will work on all aspects of the direct investing and monitoring process that include investment screening, industry and sector analysis, transaction due diligence, participation in investment decision process, preparation of investment recommendation memos, working with portfolio companies, as well as researching general private equity trends. Candidates should have a business or comparable university degree with highest academic standing and two to four years of experience within an investment banking, consulting, accountancy or direct investment environment, with relevant exposure to transactions and investment analysis. The position is in Montreal.
