Private Equity Jobs of the Week: OMERS, Goldman Sachs and UBS are hiring

OMERS is looking to hire a senior associate for its talent acquisition team. The hire will lead recruiting efforts and support strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of candidates. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in recruitment and/or human resources along with a related undergraduate degree. The position is in New York. 

Goldman Sachs is looking to hire an associate for its client portfolio solutions team within its alternative investments and manager selection. Duties include the development and maintenance of product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on AIMS services, products and performance. Also, he or she will formulate and express AIMS’ investment views, field questions on AIMS managers and fund investments, and outline AIMS’ investment theses and market outlook. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in economics, finance, or a related analytical field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related investment management position. The position is in New York.

Blackstone is seeking a private equity associate for its investment operations. The hire will work closely with deal teams/fund counsel/tax advisors and portfolio company management on investment transactions and support. Also, he or she will liaise with the fund accountants on deal transaction accounting for GAAP F/S; and manage the investment closing/sale funds flow process alongside the deal teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; and four to six years of public accounting, fund accounting or fund operations experience. The position is in New York.

UBS is on the hunt for an investment banking associate. The hire will network effectively within the secondary private equity market; and create partnerships by increasing depth and breadth of existing client relationships. Also, he or she will generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration or a related field; an MBA is preferred but not required. Also, applicants should have multiple years of experience in a similar position or related financial services position or in investment management. The position is in New York.
