Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Park Hill, SVB and Brookfield are hiring

Park Hill Private Equity is looking to hire a project management principal. Duties include leading the origination, due diligence and fundraising/execution of private equity commingled funds, co-investments and direct equity investments for U.S.-based private equity and credit managers. Candidates should have senior vice president/principal-level equivalent experience with a minimum of eight years of total experience, including at least six years’ experience in private equity within a placement agent, private equity fund, institutional investor, investment consultant and/or investment bank. Also, he or she should have experience in managing private equity fundraising processes. The position is in New York City.

Brookfield Asset Management is searching for a senior associate to join its Brookfield private funds group for its real asset project management platform. The hire will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the fundraising process including marketing strategy, launch, financial analysis, preparing marketing documents, tracking investor activity, facilitating investor due diligence, preparing customized presentations, reporting to senior management and certain post-marketing activities. Candidates should have a minimum of six to seven years of financial services-related experience and an undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background. The position is in New York City.

Silicon Valley Bank is seeking a senior associate for its sponsor finance team. The hire’s primary responsibilities will include underwriting and executing new transactions with a secondary focus on sponsor coverage and portfolio management. The associate should exhibit the aptitude to eventually lead all aspects of the transaction execution process. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree demonstrating strong academic performance and a minimum of one to two years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, investment banking and/or sponsor finance with formal credit training a plus. The position is in Palo Alto.

DEG-BR is seeking a senior analyst or investment manager to support DEG-DE’s equity and funds business with a focus on Brazil and Mercosul and to a lesser extent Latin America. The hire will establish contacts with new potential equity clients/PE funds; assist DEG-DE in pre-structuring adequate equity investments; prepare first level decision for due diligence by DEG-DE credit committee together with DEG-DE; and provide periodic evaluation of equity investments. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, interest and experience in private equity investments, a decent knowledge of LatAm markets, fluency in Portuguese and English and a decent working knowledge of Spanish.
