Primary Venture Partners is looking to hire a B2B principal. The hire will work with the firm’s General Partner Brad Svrluga on all B2B investment activity. Candidates should have five to eight years of real-world experience, knowledge of SaaS and enterprise tech landscapes and an ability to quickly articulate a point of view around emerging themes. The Blackstone Group is looking to hire a private equity co-investment, vice president for its Strategic Partners unit. The hire will develop and manage relationships with financial sponsors, company management teams and other intermediaries to generate increased deal flow and negotiate and structure investment transactions effectively within tight time constraints. Candidates should have five to eight years of experience, with at least two to three years of private equity investing experience. The position is in New York City.

Apollo Global Management is seeking a private equity associate. Duties include performing company and industry due diligence, monitoring existing portfolio companies and developing investment committee memoranda and materials with senior team members. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with an exceptional record of academic achievement and at least two years of experience in investment banking. The position is in New York City.

The Carlyle Group’s AlpInvest Partners is searching for a business development and investor relations associate. The hire will support senior professionals on business development efforts across the global platform and provide project management on product offerings including prospect tracking and prioritization, data room management and roadshow planning. Also, he or she will be involved in the preparation of due diligence responses and participate with senior sales and investment professionals in client and prospect meetings and calls. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher; a concentration in finance, business, accounting, engineering, mathematics, sciences or statistics is preferred. A minimum two to three years of experience at an investment bank (preferred), private equity firm, consultancy firm or placement agent is required. The position is in New York City.
