Duties include assisting with deal identification, due diligence, and portfolio company operational improvements, as well as firm-level topics of strategy, governance, and operations. Candidates should have two to three years of experience in transaction (including accounting) advisory, private equity, or strategy consulting.
Capital Dynamics is looking to hire a private credit associate. The successful candidate will join a team focused on the analysis, due diligence and monitoring of credit investments. He or she will support the team working across all aspects of the business, including fundraising, reporting, communication, valuation, etc. Qualifications include two to four years’ relevant experience in credit investing, private equity, investment banking or related. The position is located in New York.
Echelon Wealth Partners has an opening for a managing director, private venture capital. The hire will develop and manage relationships with VC firms and prospects, working closely with the Echelon Investment Banking team to drive the day-to-day interactions with portfolio companies in order to build long-term business opportunities. She will also serve as a key member of the business development team in helping to drive overall market and technical strategy within the startup space. The hire will assume responsibility for all investment activities in China, generating deal-flow by doing research, connecting with other VC firms in China, and building relationships with universities, incubators, chemical parks, accelerators and start-ups; leading the detailed technical, commercial, financial and legal due diligence of target companies and negotiating term sheets and subsequently investment contracts; and coaching portfolio companies as a board member.
