Responsibilities include providing on-site leadership and guidance for management teams of portfolio companies in identifying and implementing cost cutting/value creation initiatives across all global markets, business units and individual departments. Candidates should have the following requirements: minimum 15 years of financial/operational business experience acquired through current/prior C-Suite leadership positions; prior track record of success in the form of completed exit(s); experience working across a variety of industries; and experience in turnaround and growth situations. Deutsche Bank is on the hunt for a private equity associate. The hire will be involved in the appraisal of private equity investment opportunities globally and will also assist in monitoring the assets in the portfolio. Also, he or she will evaluate a range of transactions, including structured liquidity options for sellers of private market assets, direct co-investments in private equity-backed companies and other bespoke private markets solutions. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance; a CFA or other certifications/graduate coursework will be considered. They should also have previous relevant experience in investment banking. The position is in New York City.
Allianz Global Investors is seeking a private equity associate. The hire will participate in screening and diligence meetings with new and existing managers, including pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting notes; and conduct market research and maintain deal flow database. Also, he or she will perform in-depth due diligence and prepare investment memos on primary, co-investment and secondary deals. Candidates should have three to four years of relevant work experience. They must have either direct private equity experience or primary fund/co-investment experience. Also required are strong academic credentials with a bachelor’s degree in finance or economics. The position is in New York City.
