Turn/River Capital is on the hunt for a director of investment development. The hire will lead the firm’s sourcing efforts, identifying and building relationships with software companies that are a good fit for Turn/River’s investment focus. Also, he or she will team with junior sourcing analysts and work closely with the partners to close new deals. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience in investment banking or a sourcing/business development role at an investment firm. Also desired is a fluency with software systems and tools to support sourcing efforts. The position is in San Francisco.

Cascadia Capital is looking to hire a vice president to join the firm’s food, beverage and agribusiness team. The hire will take the lead on most aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, marketing outreach, structuring and negotiations. Also, he or she will play a key role in team business development initiatives, client pitches and firm-wide initiatives. Candidates should have VP or senior associate level investment banking experience with a focus on M&A and equity and debt capital raises. Industry domain knowledge in the food, beverage and/or agribusiness sectors is preferred, but not required. Also, desired are FINRA Series 79 and 63; and a BA/BS degree with demonstrated academic excellence. The position is in Seattle.

Soundcore Capital Partners is seeking an associate for its deal origination team. Responsibilities include in-depth market research to identify acquisitions targets; cold outreach to acquisition targets; networking with industry insiders; and leveraging internal CRM and automations software to improve results, track efficacy, benchmark and manage pipeline. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and one to four years of professional experience in B2B outbound sales or corporate development. The position is in New York City.

Guardian Life Insurance Company is seeking a private equity investment analyst. Duties include supporting senior investment professionals on tracking, sourcing, executing and monitoring of private equity funds. Candidates should have a minimum of two to three years of experience in finance with a preference for private equity experience. A bachelor’s degree is required with a strong academic record; professional finance certifications (CFA, CAIA), including those in process, are a plus. The position is in New York City.
