Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Wellington, Skyview and Access Holdings are hiring

This week’s jobs include a vice president at principal at Wellington, a managing director at Skyview and an associate at LFM.

Wellington Management is searching for a private equity principal to lead a venture fund focused on climate impact. The principal will be responsible for helping develop Wellington’s sourcing network, in addition to building relationships directly with private companies that address climate change. In addition to generating deal flow, the hire will conduct in-depth due diligence of select deals, develop investment recommendations and monitor portfolio positions. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in a private markets investment role, preferably at a venture capital firm. Also, he or she should have established industry relationships and network to source deal flow in climate finance. The position is based either in Boston or London.

Skyview Ventures is looking to hire a managing director/partner. The hire will help with sourcing, deal execution, diligence of new opportunities, portfolio oversight, and continued fundraising. Candidates should have at least three to five years as an associate and vice president at a West Coast venture firm with a focus on technology, business services and/or consumer industries. The position is in Los Angeles.

Access Holdings is on the hunt for vice president/senior associate. The hire will manage and help drive Access’ efforts across the investment life cycle including investment thesis generation, deal sourcing, deal execution, debt and equity capital raising, portfolio management and exit of portfolio investments. Also, he or she will build trust-based relationships with key parties (e.g., investors, bankers, portfolio company executives, investment targets, advisors and limited partners) while serving as a trusted partner to the senior leaders of the firm. Candidates should have eight plus years of total work experience and an MBA from a top-tier university. The position is in Baltimore.

LFM Capital is seeking an associate to join the investment team. The hire will focus on all aspects of the firm’s investment mandate including analyzing and executing private equity investments as well as monitoring portfolio companies and supporting value creation initiatives. The position requires transaction evaluation including business, industry and financial due diligence, modeling and valuation, and preparation of investment committee memoranda and presentations. Candidates should have one to three years of work experience in investment banking, private equity or management consulting. The position is in Nashville.
