Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in a liberal arts field that involves cross-disciplinary research, analysis and writing. NKP Capital is on the hunt for a private equity associate. The hire will source and uncover new acquisition opportunities; build and analyze financial and valuation models; lead the underwriting and due diligence of new acquisitions and make recommendations; and prepare investment presentations and other marketing materials. Candidates should have one to two plus years of transactional experience in corporate and/or real estate acquisitions; and a strong background in finance and/or real estate at top-tier investment banking, private equity and/or real estate acquisition firms. A business or economics degree is preferred but not required. The position is in Miami.

Duties for this two-year position include analyzing and modeling prospective investment opportunities; performing detailed market and industry due diligence; assisting with investment due diligence; and preparing materials for investment committee meetings. Candidates should have at least two years of investment banking, management consulting, leveraged lending or transaction services. The start date is summer/fall 2020.
