Duties include preparing, analyzing and explaining historical and projected financial information, coordinating and performing business due diligence and preparing confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations. ADG experience is preferred, but not required. One to two years of prior investment banking experience is required. Coursework in accounting and finance is highly recommended. The position is in Washington, D.C.
Blackstone is looking to hire an analyst for its portfolio management program. Assignments may include financial planning, operations analysis, treasury/cash management, commercial finance, IPO preparation, pricing initiatives, business operations evaluation, lean six sigma, acquisition integration, procurement/sourcing, and risk mitigation. Locations may be domestic or international depending on need and availability. Individual assignments vary from six to 18-month commitments, with participants expected to complete two years of rotations in aggregate. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a quantitative discipline, or experience in the finance field; he or she should have three to four years’ work experience in financial services.
